Biography
Hi, my name is Bryan Tan and I'm an interactive designer. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in the Philippines, and I lived in Philippines and Malaysia for the first 10 years of my life. I moved to the States in 1989, and I've lived in California ever since. In 2001, I received a degree in English from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), and recently I completed the work required to earn a degree in Interactive Media Design from the Art Institute of California - Orange County.
Currently, I am developing the website for the professional photography retail store CAI Cameras, and I am also working on a web project to educate and provide resources for photographic lighting called Studio Lighting USA. I have also done work for LC Piano Studio, a piano instruction studio located in Fountain Valley, California.
I love the fact that I can pursue a career where I can be paid to do something I love to do, which is to design. Design to me is where form meets function, and I like to think that all the work I do is both highly functional and beautiful as well. If you need to develop a website, or have some print or video work done, I can provide all those services for you. Even if you just need a creative idea, or need some help with design, I enjoy helping and contributing. I find that the more I help people, the more I learn from them as well.
